Post-doctoral contract offer in the GTE group
Contract for work or service (two positions) in the framework of the project "Experimental and numerical research into the thermal behaviour of laser-microtextured surfaces to improve the cooling of batteries and electronic components in electric vehicles (μSTHERM). R&D&I 2020 projects".
Contractual conditions:
- Type of contract: Contract for work or service.
- Working day: Full time (40 hours per week).
- Duration: 6 months (expected start date 1 January 2022) with the possibility of extension.
- Gross monthly salary: 1670 €.

Job Duties:
Participate in the development of a CFD simulation tool able to reproduce, capture, display and predict flow boiling over the experimental range, morphologies and applications under learning.
Applicant profile:
PhD in an engineering in the field of industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, energy and mining or physics.
Experience in numerical simulation of flow problems involving heat transfer.

Evaluation Committee:
A Commission formed by three members of the research group will be in charge of the selective process (María Concepción Paz, José Luis Miguez Tabarés and Eduardo Suarez Porto). The committee will be able to call the candidates with the highest professional and training assessment for a face-to-face interview or by telematic means.
The committee will draw up a waiting list of those candidates who exceed the minimum score required to be considered suitable. If it considers that no candidate meets the minimum requirements, the post may be declared vacant.
